Collaborative agents that work with your whole team and include role permissions are different from single-player agents like Claude Code.
Most of the tools out there right now are basically for one person at a time, but it is clear that AI needs to be able to work across the entire group. When you have role permissions, it means you can actually manage who does what, rather than just letting an agent run wild in your codebase.
Single-player agents are okay for small tasks, but the real benefit is getting an agent that fits into the team workflow you already have. Honestly, it comes down to whether you want a tool that just helps you or one that helps the whole department stay on the same page.
