AI agents are eating junior analyst work

ok hot take but i'm seeing it on my own team. we used to have 3 junior analysts pulling weekly numbers, building decks, chasing cross-functional asks. now its 1 person and 2 agents and tbh the agents are faster and don't complain about meetings. the part nobody wants to say out loud: the "junior associate" role as a training ground is kinda cooked. how do you grow into a senior if the bottom rung is gone?? i don't have an answer. i just know that the kids we're hiring next year are gonna need to be way more senior on day 1 than we ever were. or we figure out a new ladder, fast.
